Hiring on ProfilePro follows one path: post the job, review who applied, talk to the best people and schedule interviews. Here is each step as it appears in the app.
Post the job
Choose “Post a job” and the first question is “What are you looking for?” You pick one of three:
- Hire for a role
- Hire for a project
- Hire for an ongoing service
Then tell ProfilePro who you are posting as. You can post as yourself or as a company Page you manage. After that you add the details: a title, a description, the country, and whether the work is remote, hybrid or on-site, followed by the role details such as the category.
If you are not ready to publish, use “Save as draft” and come back later.
Manage your jobs
Every job you post is listed in Manage Jobs, sorted into tabs: All, Open, Paused, Drafts and Closed. Pause a job when you have enough applicants and close it when the role is filled.
Review applicants
Open a job and you see everyone who applied. You can sort the list and filter by location and by stage. Tap an applicant to read their Overview, Experience, Education, Skills and Portfolio in one place. Then act on it:
- Shortlist the people you want to look at again
- Reject the ones who are not a fit
- Message anyone with a question
- Schedule interview for your top choices
Schedule an interview
The interview form asks for a title, date, time, duration and format, plus an optional note. Press “Send invitation” and the candidate receives it. You can follow everything on the Interviews page, which has three tabs: Upcoming, Pending requests, and Past and declined. You can also schedule an interview straight from a chat in Messages.
A tip for faster hiring
Write the job description for the person you want, not for a form. Say what the first month looks like, what the budget is and how long the work will last. You will get fewer applicants, and better ones.
